So look for that one and if you can find it, don't let it get away. Not sure whether it's my favourite yet but it's an interesting one. I just found this in the local sales bin. I've listened to it a couple of times, and I reckon it's worth getting just to hear Bird with a name big band like Woody Herman's, which sound surprisingly modern for '51 I haven't heard much Woody.

Often I feel the backing behind Bird sounds old-fashioned compared to what he's playing, but not on this CD. They sound good together, if you can get past the typical bootleg sound quality of that time. The main thing I noticed is the big band is in the background compared to Bird, but you can still hear their playing.
